Children are referred after a life-saving procedure from the Stollery Children's Hospital. They are refered by the specialist preforming the procedure according to pre-determined criteria. Children are seen at 6-8 months post-procedure, at 21 months of age and at 4.5 years of age and as needed. These are key ages to ensure any developmental interventions that may be needed are arranged.
