If a patient misses an appointment, they will be contacted to reschedule. If they miss 3 appointments, a letter of notification will be sent and the patient will need to be re-referred.

• Bring your Alberta health care card and a piece of government issued photo ID.
• Check in at reception 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.
• You may bring a family member or significant other during your consultation.
• Please make sure to have someone with you if you are unable to communicate in English.

Phone appointment is available at the descretion of the physician.

The Scoliosis Clinic is located at the The Stollery Children’s Hospital in the Walter C. Mackenzie Centre located on the University of Alberta campus.
The clinic is in the Clinical Sciences Building, Room 1-170. If x-rays are required before the appointment, report first to Pediatric Diagnostic Imaging, located at 1C2 in the main hospital.
There is a patient drop-off and pickup area at the main entrance of the hospital on the east building on 112th street and 84th avenue, directly North of the University of Alberta and Stollery Children’s Hospital’s emergency departments.

Bus stops at 112 and 114 St.
LRT Health Sciences station is located west across 114 St.

Parking is available underground on the 114st main entrance, above ground in the East parkade directly south of the Mazankowski Heart Institute or at ground level right outside of the Stollery Emergency.
