MISSED APPOINTMENT GUIDELINES
Client can call 403-297-3337 and press 2 to leave a message regarding confirming or cancelling a booked bed. No client consequences for cancelling or no shows. Client can present for triage any morning 0700-0715 or rebook a bed.
PATIENT APPOINTMENT INSTRUCTIONS
- You must arrive at RRC by 0800 AM for booked bed or another arranged time as approved by AHN
- Booked beds must call by 0700 and leave a confirmation/cancellation message or the bed will be given away.
- Clients must cancel their bed if sober more than 72 hours
- Alberta Health Care # (if available)
- All prescription medications in the bottle prescribed in by physician
- Medications must be approved by staff
- 3 days worth of clothing and only enough toiletries to fill a large Ziploc bag
- Daily complimentary laundry services and basic toiletries are available
- Clients may bring enough undergarments for their entire stay
- Clothing must not promote alcohol or drugs or have offensive slogans or images
- One pair of shoes and one pair of sandals/slippers
- Free local phone is available
- A calling card (preferably with a Calgary Access number) is required to make long distance phone calls
- Cell phones are not permitted and will be locked up until time of discharge - write down any phone numbers you will require from your phone
What NOT to bring:
- Products containing alcohol
- Over-the-counter medications, vitamins, herbs, etc
- Perfume, cologne, body spray, or heavily scented products
- More than $200 cash or anything of value (i.e. jewelry, electronics)
- Weapons, tools, or sharp objects
- Electronics (i.e. iPods, tablets, laptop)
- Bedding, bath linens, pillows, stuffed toys
- Food or drink
